What can you expect from this challenging job?

The Material Handling Department is responsible for the sales of forklifts and warehouse equipment to a network of dealers in Europe. We are currently looking for an Account Manager/ Key Account Manager for France, reporting to the Head of Sales (Europe). The (Key) Account Manager will be part of a diverse and high growth European sales team looking to expand and grow sales significantly across the region. The role will be responsible and accountable for the management and development of existing dealers and accounts whilst also working closely with the sales leadership team to develop and execute new key account acquisition and growth strategy. The role will work internationally across all of Hyundai MH product portfolio to scale and build a robust and successful key account business.



  • You are responsible for developing and maintaining existing key account business for Hyundai MH, Europe, mainly in France.
  • You work closely with the broader sales team to develop a key account strategy to identify new customer opportunities and develop/ scale up the European key account business.
  • You collaborate closely with the marketing and product management functions to ensure impactful marketing strategy to position the brand effectively.
  • You understand, plan, and develop key account business development strategy across designated region and markets.
  • You ensure customer satisfaction and proactive resolution to exceed customer expectations.

You manage the dealer activities in France:

  • Apart from your key account activities, you may manage the dealer network and increase the sales performance by setting targets, deciding on market share and brand penetration in a designated area.
  • You evaluate the targets with your dealer and develop marketing and sales actions, which you follow up.
  • You prepare and implement the market strategy and segmentation and optimize the network.
  • You make sure you achieve set targets for your dealers.
Are you the new colleague we are looking for?
  • You have a bachelor degree
  • You have a minimum 7 years’ commercial experience in a similar international position in which you were responsible for indirect/ direct sales within the material handling sector
  • You have a minimum 5 years direct key account management experience within material handling sector
  • You have previous experience with managing a dealer network
  • You have a demonstrable track record of significantly driving key account growth and profitability across account development and new key account acquisition.
  • You have a strategic mindset able to plan, develop and execute key account growth strategy across Europe with a focus on Western Europe.
  • You are commercially savvy with strong financial acumen and financial planning/ forecasting ability.
  • You possess of a high level of communication skills, both verbal and written English and French. 
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • You have excellent organizational skills
  • MS office suite proficiency
  • You are willing to travel irregularly to your customers, dealers and to international fairs. (travel percentage +/- 50%)
