Product Compliance Specialist

To strengthen our Research Center in Tessenderlo, we are looking for a motivated Product Compliance Specialist who wants to play a key role in ensuring our products comply with current and future regulations.

What can you expect from this challenging job?

As a Product Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for monitoring, interpreting and applying European and local regulations for our Construction Equipment and Material Handling divisions.

You will:

• Investigate and monitor European and local regulations that impact our products and business.

• Work closely with our R&D teams in Korea to translate regulatory requirements into practical product solutions and ensure they remain informed about legislative changes.

• Explore new regulations related to emerging technologies and digital safety topics such as hydrogen, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and connected machines.

• Represent Hyundai in meetings with industry organizations, technical committees and regulatory bodies, helping to shape future regulations and standards.

• Build and maintain a strong network with industry stakeholders and explain Hyundai's position on regulatory developments.

• Become the internal specialist for product compliance and provide guidance to colleagues across different departments.

• Support our dealer network and customers with regulatory and compliance-related questions.

• Assist with the application, maintenance and renewal of road homologation files.

• Participate in new homologation projects for current and future product ranges.

Are you the colleague we’re looking for?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree or have an equivalent level through experience.

• You are interested in engineering, technology, legislation or the world of Construction Equipment and Material Handling.

• Experience in compliance, homologation, certification or a technical environment is an asset, but not a requirement.

• You are eager to learn and motivated to develop yourself into a compliance expert.

• You have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with facts, regulations and technical information.

• You have a keen eye for detail and work in a structured and accurate manner.

• You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with international teams.

• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• You enjoy working on small and medium-sized projects and taking ownership of your responsibilities.

• You thrive in an international environment and enjoy collaborating with different cultures.

• You have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
